Busy little spot right on Hwy 50 next to CVS. We have discovered the best time is a little later breakfast to avoid the crowds, especially on Sundays when people are heading back home.
Wonderful breakfast options here. Our favorite breakfast dishes are the homemade Belgium waffles, Vikingsholm plate which comes with eggs and sausage patties or bacon, choose the sausage on this one. My kids love the skillet breakfast meat lovers which comes packed with bacon, ham, sausage, Italian sausage and cheese. The skillet is a bit on the pricy side but it’s worth it.
Service is always pretty fast and friendly so tip your servers 🙂
I do recommend Heidis for any person looking for a solid breakfast in South Lake Tahoe. One bonus feature is if you stay at Lakeland Village, like we do, it’s basically right next door, you can walk through the parking lot to get to Heidis, so you do not have to worry about parking.

Heidis is our go to every time! Took our last of the season trip to South Shore before the hectic school season starts. Loaded up on Heidi’s well known massive breakfast for the long ride home! You can skip lunch after eating here as they give you that much food!
If you’re looking for a spot on breakfast with full plates, awesome breakfast choices including the basic breakfast, friendly and fun staff, Heidis is your spot. This place is popular so expect a little wait time, depending on when you go and what season your visiting. Bonus, this won’t break your bank compared to other breakfast restaurant’s around town, plus you can walk through the parking lot to see the lake one last time.
