Red Hut Cafe – Ski Run

Okay, so we tried this Red Hut, we normally visit the other Red Hut on Kingsbury, and found the place pretty good. It’s kind of hard to go with Bacon and Eggs and Ham and Eggs. Hash Browns are the shredded type which are basically a big chefs utility tool size. This is a nice change from chopped potatoes. Over easy eggs. My friends were a bit over done. Plenty of bacon on my side and friends Ham was a pretty large ham steak which she had left overs of.

Coffee – Basic choice, hit the spot.
Toast – Wheat and White. Done just right.
OJ – Nothing special on the OJ but it was good.

Service – The lady that greets you is hilarious! So much energy, she gets 5 stars alone. Waitress seemed a little stressed but did a great job.

Tip – Yes, we tipped, but it kind of felt forced. Maybe because the Summer rush season is over and they are not working as much?

Pay cash and you get a small 5% off.

As mentioned we usually go to the one on Kingsbury – but will add this one to our list of spots if Kingsbury is busy.

We had a wonderful breakfast at the Red Hut. We went on a Saturday around 10 AM so the place was a little busy which the staff handled well. You may want to go a little earlier than we did. Pancakes, on par and flavorful. The biscuits and gravy was filling and the standard eggs and bacon had large portions of bacon and hash browns. Price wise, not too bad, but you’re in a tourist town so no big deal for us. Neat little gift options when you walk in, but be prepared for big prices on items, $24+ for a hat. Recommend Red Hut, go a tad early and you will not have to wait.
