Always enjoy a nice stay at Lakeland Village. We especially love the beach front units. Lakefront Townhome w Private Hot Tub is a great unit as it’s the only unit with a actual private hot tub right on the deck. The hot tub does come down below the deck so you will want to be carful when getting in and out. The resort hot tubs are also nice as well as the pools. Plenty of room in this unit, we had 12 guests. Pretty clean and staff at the front desk was attentive to our needs. Bears were fun to see, which to us was a bonus. I would recommend this place to anyone. One thing, not sure how Lakeland operates but they are managed by a company called Avari now, so you might want to update from Vacasa to Avari unless they are the same company?

Let’s talk about 4th of July at Lakeland Village — Park and don’t move your car or you will never get a spot back. Our 2nd 4th of July at this resort and they put on a great evening to watch the fireworks, complete with DJ. They do have a new food provider at the snack shack which is better compared to the company they had last year. More snack options, perfect for the beach or hanging by the firepit.
We booked via Airbnb and our spot was nice. We were missing a few window screens but the patio door open worked okay. Plenty of kitchen items. Well stocked supplies in a nice basket that included a welcome note. Already planning next years 4th of July trip.

Checking out this morning after another great stay at Lakeland Village. Was happy that the rain started this morning and not during the celebrity golf tournament 🙂
The checkin process was easy, self checkin which made things nice. Unit 467 was clean and comfortable with plenty of kitchen items that made things pretty easy for meal prep. Parking was a bit difficult but then again the property was pretty full during our stay. One thing to note; leave your parking pass in your car and make sure you have your wristband as security is pretty fast to check on these things. I spoke with one security guard who let me know that they require the bands because other people try to sneak on the property to use the private beach, again, not surprised because the beach feature is awesome! The kids loved the beach and the pool right next to it.
Staff was attentive to our needs and I appreciated the fact that they let me know to book direct next time to save a few dollars. It was nice that Whole foods is across the street and nice breakfast place called Heidi’s is easy walk. The company that manages Lakeland is called Avari, no longer Vacasa. Looking forward to our August trip.

Our second holiday trip and another great stay! The addition of the ski shop in the lobby is perfect and saves significant time compared to renting on the mountain. The staff had the lobby decorated for the holidays, with a crackling fire in the fireplace, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Our unit (416) was clean and well-maintained—nice touch with the free coffee, hot chocolate, and apple cider. I would recommend a few additional cooking basics, like salt/pepper and other seasonings. Staff responded promptly when a lightbulb went out.
Looking forward to our next stay!

I recently stayed at Vacasa Lakeland Village, and I have to say, I really enjoyed my time there. The location was perfect—close to the lake, which made it super easy to get out and enjoy some nature. The area was peaceful, and I loved being able to unwind with the beautiful scenery all around me.
The accommodations were comfortable and felt like a cozy home away from home. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus for me. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and I appreciated having that option since dining out can get pricey.
We also had access to some nice amenities, like a pool and a hot tub, which were great for relaxing after a day of hiking and exploring. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some time in nature. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family!

Another beautiful stay and the bear did not disappoint, this time showing off her cubs! We enjoyed the perfect fall weather with a nice view of the lake form our unit. Clean and well kept. Staff was welcoming and went the extra mile. Word of note, they are putting in a new pier so it was closed this trip. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Lake Tahoe.

Absolutely a wonderful stay at Lakeland! My family and I always book during the fall season and it never disappoints. Our beach front unit was perfectly decorticated, nice and comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked and spotless. Thank you to the great staff at the front desk for their quality service. Maintenance was also on their A game when called for batteries for one of the TV remotes, they arrived within minutes.
One thing to watch for is the bear that appears to like to sleep under some decks. Makes for great photos but he or she really makes itself right at home walking around 🙂

We have always loved Lakeland Village. New management company onsite was amazing compared to the old Vail Resorts. It appears the staff has gotten a lot of owners to do upgrades to their units which was much needed. Our unit was wonderful and clean, parking was a bit difficult as it was a holiday weekend. Did one event at the event center, Lakeland is a perfect distance unless you want to stay at the casinos which are super close to the event center. Wonderful trip, okay skiing, great event! Will be back this summer
